SRWMD TO HOST GOVERNING BOARD MEETING, FIRST BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING ON SEPTEMBER 13

LIVE OAK, FLA., SEPTEMBER 6, 2022 – The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) will hold its Governing Board meeting and First Public Hearing on the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Millage and Budget on Tuesday, September 13.  

The monthly Governing Board meeting is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. with the First Public Hearing on the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget starting at 5:05 p.m. The meeting will be accessible online and open to the public at the District headquarters.   

In addition to in-person participation, the meeting will utilize online technology for visuals and audio. Those wishing to participate virtually should register at https://bit.ly/3erMcOy. A confirmation email with a link to join the online meeting will be sent after registration. If using a phone for audio, a pin number will be required for audio controls to be enabled. Those wishing to provide public comment on an item should submit their comment online at www.MySuwanneeRiver.com/Comments.   

The September 13 Governing Board meeting agenda and meeting materials are posted on the District website at www.MySuwanneeRiver.com.   

Additionally, the Board will host committee meetings and workshops on Tuesday, September 26, followed by its Final Public Hearing on Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Millage and Budget. Committee meetings will begin at 3 p.m. and the budget hearing will start at 5:05 p.m.
