Lower Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers and Priority Springs (LSFIR) MFL Recovery Strategy Workshop

The Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD), along with the Florida Department of Environmental Protections (FDEP) and the St Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD), will hold a joint workshop to discuss FDEP’s proposed minimum flows for the Lower Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers and Priority Springs (LSFIR).

The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 25, at the SRWMD headquarters in Live Oak, 9225 CR 49.

The LSFIR includes six Outstanding Florida Springs as defined by subsection 373.802(4), F.S., and is therefore subject to section 373.805, F.S. The three agencies will also discuss the associated recovery strategy required by Section 373.0421, F.S., which would apply within portions of both SRWMD and SJRWMD without the need for further rulemaking by the districts.
