A cooperative initiative by the Suwannee River Water Management District (SRWMD) and St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) is under way to enhance regional water levels by capturing significant quantities of water to recharge the Upper Floridan aquifer at strategic locations.
The Task 1 Technical Memorandum (TM) has been completed by ATKINS and is available for download (PDF, 2.53MB). The TM summarizes accumulated hydrologic/hydrogeologic data and identifies water treatment processes for the ranges of raw surface water and reclaimed water sources in the study area.
