[ARCHIVED] SRWMD LiDAR mapping efforts progresses

The SRWMD is using light detection and ranging (LiDAR)technology to map ground elevations. “Our goal is to map the entire District to enhance our ability to identify flood areas, plan land management and develop water storage projects" said Erich Marzolf.
